Komen Montana’s Race for the Cure is celebrating 16 years in 2010. We are proud that this event has become the premier event of the Montana Komen Affiliate. With hundreds of volunteers and thousands of participants, we can truly say we are the largest event centered around breast cancer in the state of Montana! We look forward to growing the race each and every year and that can only be done with your help!
With the help of our generous state, we have raised over $294,000 in the last two years. See how we put that money to work through our statewide grants program. Up to 75% of the net proceeds from the Race fund local breast cancer programs. Hundreds of Montana women who could not afford breast healthcare have received screenings, education and treatments as a result. At least 25% of the Race proceeds support the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grants Program to fund research.
With thanks to all who have supported our work to end breast cancer forever, the 16th annual Komen Montana Race for the Cure, is surely to be the best year ever. We graciously thank all of our sponsors for their generous support.
