Celebrating Survivors
Breast cancer survivors who are registered for the Race and wish to be recognized may pick up their complimentary pink cap and pink t-shirt, provided by Zeta Tau Alpha, at Capital Hill Mall during packet pick-up on May 13th and May 14th or on Race day at the Survivor Tent at the State Capitol. We would also like to invite participants to recognize those special people who have been touched by breast cancer. “In Memory of” and “In Celebration of” back signs will be available for all race participants at the Capital Hill Mall and on Race day.
The Breast Cancer Survivor Program is sponsored nationally by Zeta Tau Alpha.
Survivor Tent and Pink Ribbon Café
The Pink Ribbon Café is sponsored by Van’s Thriftway of Helena. Coffee is provided by Starbucks.
Survivor Procession
New this year is a pre-Race Survivor Procession. All interested survivors should be gathered by 9:30am near the front Capitol entrance for a processional walk to the start line (see site map). A group photo will be taken at the end of the procession. Survivors participating in the procession will be able to rejoin their friends and family at prior to the start of the 5K Race. Wheelchairs will receive special care and attention.Survivor Ceremony and Awards
This is the perfect end to a perfect Race day. Show your support for the hundreds of survivors at the Awards ceremony following the Race on the Capitol Steps. Join us at 11:00am on the Main stage for a very motivating tribute to these women and men! Race prizes will be awarded for the following categories:- 5K Survivor Overall - 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
- 5K Survivor Masters - 1st place (40-49)
- 5K Survivor Super Masters - 1st place (50+)
Survivor Photo
A complimentary group photo will be mailed out to survivors who have registered for the 2010 Race. Photos will be mailed approximately two weeks after the Race.V.I.P. Parking
