Susan G. Komen Montana Race for the Cure® Volunteer Opportunities
The Komen Montana Race for the Cure would not be a success without the help of our nearly 250 volunteers. We have many opportunities available where volunteer support is needed - this varies from months before the Race, during Race week, Race day, and after the Race. Many volunteer opportunities still allow you to participate on Race day in the 5K or 1 mile races. Volunteer assignments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The easiest way to register (and secure your volunteer spot) is online. For volunteers who wish to sign-up by mail, download the Volunteer Registration and Release Form, complete it and mail with an original signature to Komen Montana, 825 Helena Avenue, Helena, MT 59601. A signed Volunteer Registration and Release Form can also be dropped off at the Komen Office before May 12, during late registration at the Capital Hill Mall on May 13 and 14, or at the Information Tent on Race day at the State Capitol.
New and returning volunteers are encouraged to get involved. Race volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt courtesy of Quilted Northern Ultra in appreciation of their efforts. Quilted Northern is the National Series Sponsor of the Volunteer Recognition Program.
