Komen Montana Race for the Cure

The Komen Montana Race for the Cure is the largest fundraising event for finding a cure for breast cancer.  The money raised through the Race provides funds to Montana grantees and helps fund national research.  To date, $1.2 million has been awarded in Montana for education, screening and diagnosis.  LET’S RAISE MORE THIS YEAR -- GREAT PRIZES FOR ALL FUNDRAISERS!  Together we will end breast cancer forever.

Sleep-in for the Cure©

If you can’t be at the Race, participate from home or where ever you are traveling!  Register using the Registration Page, and select "Sleep-in for the Cure" during the registration process.  Your t-shirt and race bib will be sent to you.  You are also eligible for fundraising prizes. 

Registration Deadlines

  • Mail-in registration must be received by May 11, 2012.
  • Team registration closes on May 12, 2012.
  • Online registration for individuals closes on May 18, 2012; for teams, registration closes on May 12, 2012.
  • In-person registration can be completed up to the time of the Race.
  • Sleep-in for the Cure Participants must register by May 12, 2012 in order to receive their t-shirt by Race Day.  Late registrants will receive their t-shirts after the Race. 

Timing and Race Awards
The Komen Montana Race for the Cure is not a timed Race, although a timing clock will be visible at the finish line for participants to time themselves.  The top race finishers who are breast cancer survivors will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony following the Race.  Fundraising awards are given to the best fundraisers in each prize category.

Rain or Shine
The Montana Race for the Cure will occur rain or shine.  In extreme circumstances that require cancellation of Race Day activities, all entry fees will be considered donations to Komen Montana.  No refunds will be given.

Medical Aid
Medical Aid is available on Race Day.  Medical aid stations are available at the start and finish lines, the information booth, and at water stations along the Race course.  Please call 911 or notify a Course Guard if medical aid is needed in other locations. 

Please do not run or walk without training.  Drink plenty of fluids.  Please remember that you are participating at your own risk.

Safety First
For the safety of all participants, inline skates and pets are discouraged from participating in this event.  Thank you for your cooperation.
