Komen Race for the Cure

5K begins at 10:00 a.m. & 1 Mile at 10:10 a.m.

State Capitol in Helena, MT 

Come early and enjoy "Music by Shark Radio -- John McLellan from The Clintons and Andy  Cottrell from Honey Biscuit"  Thank you John and Andy for honoring breast cancer survivors and their friends and families. 

Timing is returning to the Race for the Cure -- Timing chips will be included in your Race packet. Race results will be available immediately and iphone app and mobile a web app with QR code will allow instant individual results from a smart phone post and your results can be posted to runner’s Facebook page. Prizes awarded in the following categories

  • Top 3 Breast Cancer Survivors
  • Overall male and female runners
  • Top Male and female runners in the following age categories: 14 & under, 15-19; 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65+

New Race Headquarters -- Capital City Health Club, 1280 N. Montana Ave., Helena, MT  59601
Pick-up registration forms, turn-in registration forms and pay your registration fee, buy Quilt raffle tickets, get copies of the race route, and sign-up to volunteer.

Registration fees

  • Adult 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run -- $30
  • Children 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run -- $12 (under age 18)
  • Sleep in for the Cure -- $37 (If registered by May 4, 2013, your t-shirt will be mailed to wear on Race day.)
  • Team Tailgate -- $20

Family Rate -- Families with two paying, registered adults can register their children for $5 each.  Call the Komen Office for the Registration Code -- 406-495-9337. 

T-shirt/Packet Pick-up --May 16 (4:00 to 7:00 pm) and  May 17 (11:00 am to 5:00 pm) at Capital City Health Club. ShopKomen merchandise will also be for sale at Packet pick-up. May 18 (7:00 am to 9:45 am) State Capitol grounds.  Look for the Registration Tent.  

T-Shirt guarantee -- Komen Montana makes every effort to have appropriately-sized t-shirts for every participant available on or before Race Day. However, we are unable to guarantee that a t-shirt will be available for every Race participant due to last minute registrations and size changes. T-shirts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Any Race participant not receiving a t-shirt by Race day has the option to receive a t-shirt to be mailed after the Race.
